Summary

Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the reliability, observability, automation, and operational health of a large-scale production platform. The role will focus on improving system reliability, modernizing infrastructure, strengthening monitoring, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and improve reliability and performance of production platforms.
Develop automation and internal tools to improve operational efficiency.
Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Drive platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Improve application and infrastructure observability.
Automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
Partner with engineering teams to improve production stability and reduce operational risk.

Required Skills:

Strong Python development experience.
Hands-on experience with Django and REST APIs.
Strong MySQL/database knowledge.
Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with infrastructure engineering and automation.
Hands-on experience with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools; Dynatrace preferred.
Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
Strong understanding of SRE, DevOps, and Reliability Engineering practices.
Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation frameworks.
Financial services or trading platform experience is preferred.

Location: Pennington, NJ – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Contract: 18 months
