Summary
Role: SAP MM Architect (PLM)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite - 5days/week)
Duration: 6+ months contract
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced SAP MM Architect with strong PLM integration experience to lead SAP MM and product lifecycle initiatives in a manufacturing environment. The role involves solution architecture, end-to-end design, integration, and implementation across an S/4HANA landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect SAP MM solutions covering Material Master, BOM, Purchasing, Inventory, Vendor Management, and MRP.
- Design and manage integration between MM, PLM, PP, QM, and FICO.
- Lead solution design, blueprinting, workshops, gap analysis, and functional specifications.
- Support data migration, cutover, testing, and go-live stabilization.
- Work with business, functional, technical, Basis, and security teams on solution delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to onshore/offshore teams.
Required Skills
- 12+ years SAP experience, including 8+ years SAP MM.
- 3+ years in SAP MM Lead/Architect roles.
- Strong SAP MM + PLM integration experience, including product data, engineering change, and BOM management.
- Strong knowledge of Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, MRP, and Pricing.
- Hands-on S/4HANA experience, including Fiori and Business Partner.
- At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations in an architecture/lead capacity.
- Manufacturing / high-tech experience preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
