Data Engineer - Charlotte, NC or Iselin, NJ - Contract W2/C2C - $37-47 per HR
Description
We are seeking a skilled data engineer for a hybrid position in the Southeast or Northeast region. This contract role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing data applications, supporting business processes, and integrating data with enterprise ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have experience with data technologies and a strong background in data engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data applications and cubes.
- Maintain and optimize calculation scripts, business rules, and data load processes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and support teams for data integration.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with data applications.
- Strong understanding of data cubes, calculation scripts, and data load rules.
- Good skills in SQL and data analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
