Title: Sr. Fullstack Engineer

Location: Rockville, MD or McLean, VA (Hybrid 3 days onsite with 2 days remote)

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Interview process: Prescreen, Phone, Onsite panel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable applications that support complex, data-driven workflows in a highly regulated environment. This role requires strong backend and frontend expertise, along with experience in modern DevOps practices, automation, and secure software development. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full development lifecycle and leveraging modern tools, including AI-assisted development, to improve efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 1 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
  • Strong proficiency in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) or Python
  • Deep experience with Angular and TypeScript for frontend development
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
  • Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native services, including serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda
  • Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL data stores
  • Strong understanding of application security principles, including OWASP Top 10, secrets management, and least-privilege access
  • Experience with modern version control workflows (Git, trunk-based development, or GitFlow)
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM APIs (such as AWS Bedrock) into production systems
  • Understanding of the importance of human oversight in AI-driven systems, particularly in high-risk or regulated environments
