Title: Sr. Business Analyst – Eagle Investment Systems

Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with at least 8+ years of IT experience. This resource must have recent experience Eagle Investment Systems experience (Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE)
Summary:
* Federated Hermes is using and customizing Eagle for Investment Management customers and one of the top Investment Management firms globally. This is an opportunity to get in on the front end of a 3-year middle office globalization program. Only a handful of investment management companies are utilizing Eagle Pace and Star for their environment.
Job Duties:
• Solves business problems by performing business analysis, preparing specifications and/or designs, providing project management, and testing, as needed, for relevant business process modifications, applications, and/or reporting enhancements
• Initiate and perform analysis of Investment Management Operations functions and systems, including those involving Eagle and downstream Order Management Systems.
• Works closely and collaboratively with the business unit to define business requirements and provide consultative support as needed regarding applications and business processes
• Analyzes and specifies logical data models, work flows, wireframes and/or other types of designs for relatively smaller systems or components of a larger system
• Prepares business and functional requirements documents and reviews functional system designs of significant complexity
• Work with technical and development staff to conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing. This includes developing and publishing test specifications, preparing test data, and creating user acceptance testing documents.
• Initiates communication with technology staff and business unit staff/management as required to facilitate the most effective and efficient solution to a problem
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all reporting functions and system controls. This includes Knowledge Base articles for support issues and all required documentation as outlined in Federated Hermes Software Development Lifecycle Process.
• Provide customer support with the highest level of commitment and effectiveness
• Provide hands-on support and training, as needed, to Investment Management Operations teams
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience required.
• 7 to 10 years of systems/business analysis experience required.
• Experience in financial services or securities industry with knowledge of investment products required.
• Experience with EAGLE Investment Systems required.
• Knowledge of mutual funds, securities and/or financial accounting preferred.
• Experience on multiple team-oriented systems projects required.
• Experience working with relational databases writing Structured Query Language (SQL) required.
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities within an IT organization required.
