Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Technician II to supportdata center logistics and warehouse operations. This role focuses on inventory
management, shipping/receiving, material movement, and physical asset trackingwithin a high-volume data center environment.
Candidates with experience in Amazon Fulfillment, FedEx, UPS, or large-scale warehouse/logistics operations are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order (PO) receiving
  • Perform shipping, receiving, packaging, and staging of hardware and materials
  • Maintain accurate physical inventory tracking and documentation
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts, audits, and data corrections
  • Support rack movement and material handling activities
  • Perform destruction of data-bearing devices (DBDs) in accordance with documented procedures and compliance standards
  • Monitor systems for equipment failures or errors and escalate when needed
  • Respond to system or program error messages by identifying and correcting issues
  • Assist in testing and debugging new programs as directed
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to track data, generate reports, and support operations
  • Ensure adherence to data center regulatory compliance and certification controls
  • May provide oversight for a small team (5-10 supplier resources) if required

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Warehouse or logistics operations
    • Inventory management or asset tracking
    • Supply chain or distribution centers
    • Retail, fulfillment, or warehouse management
  • Previous experience working in a data center environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Experience
  • Amazon Fulfillment Center, FedEx, UPS, or similar large-scale logistics environments
  • Inventory management systems and PO tracking
  • Shipping and receiving in regulated or secure environments
  • IT or data center logistics support

Role Summary
The Logistics Technician II plays a key role in ensuring accurate inventory control, material availability, and compliant handling of hardware within a data center. This position supports technical teams by managing logistics workflows critical to data center operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
