About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer with strong C/C++ experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building backend services and systems software using Go, along with a solid understanding of C/C++ programming, memory management, concurrency, and low-level system concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Golang, C, and C++.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services, APIs, and system components.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Work with C/C++ libraries, SDKs, and existing codebases.
- Implement efficient algorithms, data structures, multithreading, and concurrency models.
- Analyze and optimize application performance, memory usage, and resource utilization.
- Debug complex production and system-level issues using appropriate tools.
- Develop unit, integration, and performance tests.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
- Contribute to continuous integration, deployment, and automated testing processes.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming experience in Golang.
- Good hands-on experience with C and/or C++.
- Strong understanding of:
- Object-oriented and procedural programming
- Data structures and algorithms
- Pointers, memory management, and resource handling
- Multithreading and concurrency
- Networking and operating system concepts
- Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with Git and standard software development tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Echo, Fiber, or Chi.
- Experience with C++11/14/17/20 standards.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, or service-to-service communication.
- Familiarity with profiling and debugging tools such as:
- GDB
- Valgrind
- pprof
- AddressSanitizer
- ThreadSanitizer
- Experience working with embedded systems, networking software, operating systems, or performance-critical applications.
