About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical and results-driven AI Engineer to help drive operational efficiency, optimize complex logistics workflows, and reduce costs across the organization. In this role, you will leverage Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and predictive analytics to transform operational challenges into scalable, production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering and machine learning expertise with a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain, warehousing, and field operations, with Python serving as the primary development language. 

Responsibilities

End-to-End AI/ML Development

• Design, build, train, validate, deploy, and monitor production-ready machine learning models.

• Ensure model performance, reliability, and accuracy in live operational environments.

AI Agents & Workflow Automation

• Design and deploy AI agents that automate complex, multi-step operational workflows and decision-making processes.

• Build and scale agentic workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
Operational Automation & Optimization

• Automate repetitive operational workflows, reporting processes, and decision-support systems.
• Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.

Data Engineering & Pipeline Development

• Build robust ETL and data pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and process structured and unstructured datasets.

• Work with operational data sources, including inventory, routing, labor, and service events.
Systems Integration

• Integrate AI tools and predictive models with warehouse, logistics, and operational software systems.

• Rapidly prototype solutions that generate immediate business impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Operations, Finance, Facilities, Procurement, and IT teams to identify business challenges and develop AI-driven solutions.

• Create decision-support dashboards and communicate technical insights to stakeholders.

AI Governance & Safety

• Ensure responsible AI deployment through rigorous model validation, documentation, risk mitigation, bias reduction, data governance, and security practices.

• Build fail-safes into automated decision-making systems.

Technical Skills Programming & Databases

• Strong proficiency in Python (primary development language)

• Advanced SQL skills with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL

• Experience with Git version control

AI Agent Platforms & Orchestration

• Hands-on experience with agentic workflows and RAG solutions using tools such as:

 Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or advanced analytics

• Experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, or field operations is strongly preferred
