Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This position is responsible for facilitating scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies, and providing visibility into delivery plans and progress. The role involves promoting agile principles and enabling continuous improvement across multiple scrum teams. Key responsibilities include optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered for medium to high complexity projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Prepare agendas, drive discussions, and ensure follow-through on action items.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Own and administer Jira boards, workflows, dashboards, and reports while maintaining data hygiene.
- Manage backlog health and partner with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.
- Coordinate end-to-end production release activities, including scheduling, approvals, and readiness.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers across teams and partner organizations.
- Coordinate Level 3 production support activities and support handover processes.
- Serve as a central coordinator for team documentation, status reporting, and capacity planning.
- Support the onboarding of new team members by providing guidance on processes and team practices.
Required Qualifications
Functional Skills: Agile Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Change Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
- Experience working in large enterprise technology organizations.
- Experience supporting financial services or capital markets technology teams.
- Familiarity with application development, solution architecture, automation, testing, and DevOps practices.
- Experience participating in Scrum of Scrums, Agile Release Train events, and Program Increment planning.
