PLEASE NOTE : The manager does not want to see candidates that have two different titles for the same job.
Immediate need for a remote based IT Project Manager to support our customer, a Healthcare Payor organization, with multiple projects that are currently in flight. The selected candidate will plan, organize, and manage large scale or complex projects for successful delivery of objectives, on time and within budget. Initiates, engages, and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver results. Identifies and mitigates risk and escalates as needed. Tracks progress and drives documentation to support project needs. Ensures end to end leadership for implementations, integration, business readiness and communications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plans and initiates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, tracks schedules and mitigates risks. Sequences complex initiatives from start to finish.
Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation. Acts as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects. Coordinates issues throughout the organization, and externally when necessary, to promote accurately represented information.
Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment. Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture. Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors. Leads the execution of the project.
Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations through the use of critical and creative thinking and recommends improvements.
Performs mid-level advisory consulting work and provides strategic focus. Effectively conveys the big picture and alignment with corporate goals.
Synthesizes complex topics and project statuses into executive level presentations and influences decision making. Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization. Liaisons with IT and translates business needs into technology related action plans.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of IT Project Management expertise. Ideal project support categories are MS 365, LOS, Windows, etc.. but open to diverse IT backgrounds
Pristine communication skills for reporting purposes. Able to extract technical information from technical stakeholders and articulate those findings to VP level stakeholders
Budget management of projects that value $500K+
Strong Risk Management / Risk Identification skills

PLEASE NOTE
They are analyzing the resumes very carefully around actual PM exp, IT Exp, if healthcare is in the resume, and size of projects that the candidate is supporting. Actually reads the summary at the top of the resume and analyzes the resume compared to that. A lot of resumes did not align to the summary which was an immediate rejection.
Not dedicated PM-s (a lot of Product managers, BA-s, scrum master, dual roles, etc-) - he is seeking a dedicated PM only. No dual roles.
During the 2 interviews, the candidates couldn-t talk towards PPM tools or other basic items off the resume. Asked questions about the projects they supported and couldn-t answer basic questions. He asked -what sort of risks did your project have- and the candidates couldn-t respond / communicate the problem. He wants to have a good back and forth with the candidate around the project, if the candidate can-t talk towards the project they-ve supported then he will reject.
