We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team. The successful individual will work effectively within a team setting and have 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC/plumbing consulting engineering field.
Your primary role will include mechanical design focused on HVAC design, energy modeling and plumbing design for a diverse client base in a multidiscipline working environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Completion of HVAC specific coursework (preferred)
- Registration as an EIT., or ability to pass the FE exam within 6 months
- Registration as a PE (preferred)
- 3+ years of mechanical HVAC engineering experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Revit and AutoCAD experience
- Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office 360 Suite, Bluebeam, etc.
- Trane Trace 3D or equivalent experience
- Energy modeling experience (preferred)
The expected salary for this position is $80,000-$96,000 annually.This position is not eligible for sponsorship and is an in-person work opportunity.No paid interview travel or relocation expenses are offered for this position.Additional InformationCoffman Engineers is a company that truly focuses on its employees.
