Job Summary:
- Local applicants only; position based in Louisville, KY.
- Main focus is on implementing and integrating 718 PI Tags for real-time production monitoring and environmental controls.
- Responsibilities include creating/configuring PI Tags, troubleshooting with PI System Management Tools (SMT), and optimizing database performance.
- Integration of PI Tags with Asset Framework (AF) for enhanced data context.
- Collaboration with internal production operations and engineering teams during critical startup phase.
- Expected to develop dashboards, reports, alerts, and recommendations for project monitoring.
- Works within a small team (approx. 4 developers) using Aveva (OSIsoft) PI System Management tools.
- Must have strong experience with PI SMT, PI Builder for Excel, and configuring tag attributes.
- Requires knowledge of field data mapping interfaces (OPC, Modbus, MQTT, etc.) and PI tag-level security.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 5 years PI System experience in large manufacturing, OSHA certification, and a degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Data Science.
- Internal customers are the production operations team.
