Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Embedded Developer to join our team and help develop next-generation connected devices. If you are passionate about embedded systems, middleware development, and debugging, we want you! This role requires expertise in IP-based protocols, Wi-Fi behavior, and SoC-level integration, with a strong focus on C programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embedded & Middleware Development: Develop and maintain embedded software, particularly middleware, for smooth communication between applications and hardware.

• Debugging & Analysis: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within middleware layers, network stacks, and hardware interactions. Utilize debugging tools to analyze Wi-Fi protocols, IP traffic, and system performance.

• Protocol & Connectivity Work: Ensure smooth data transmission using DHCP, DNS, TCP/UDP, and HTTP protocols. Optimize wireless communication by analyzing Wi-Fi packet-level behavior.

• C Programming & System Optimization: Write efficient, maintainable C code in embedded environments. Focus on system stability, performance, and integration.

• Collaboration: Work closely with SoC vendors, platform architects, and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience with embedded systems and middleware development.

• Strong proficiency in C programming within resource-constrained environments.

• Experience with SoC vendor software (e.g., Broadcom, Qualcomm).

• Strong understanding of IP networking, Wi-Fi protocols, and network traffic analysis.

• Proven ability to debug low-level system issues and troubleshoot complex problems.

• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RDK-B or RDK-V middleware environments.

• Exposure to DOCSIS, broadband gateways, or set-top box technologies.

• Familiarity with Wi-Fi certification tools (e.g., Wireshark, iPerf).

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation or testing.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
