Summary

Come join Apple's Mac Hardware EPM team! We are responsible for the planning and\\nexecution of system builds and driving system board/flex design releases from first\\nprototype through engineering design validation. Our team is looking for someone who\\ncan lead complex hardware builds down to the details, drive board design release\\nschedules, and handle the resolution of technical build blockers by working with\\nmultiple internal and external teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of prototype builds,\nincluding materials planning and factory readiness. You will need to establish daily build\nschedules and distribution plans to support the overall project plan for builds globally.\nYou will also partner closely with multiple teams across Apple to understand key design\nchanges requiring validation to accurately integrate engineering validation needs into\nthe system build matrix. You will drive development timelines for new boards and\nflexes, lead the internal review process and release to vendors, and be the primary point\nof contact for our contract manufacturers and worldwide team members by providing\nclear direction on requests to the factory.

BS degree in Engineering required, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.\nA proven track record in hardware engineering or operations program\nmanagement with experience in effectively handling factory builds and working\nwith vendors\nExcellent communication and organizational skills\nOutstanding attention to detail and ability to handle complex build matrices and\nmicro schedules\nSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities\nUnderstands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change;\nremains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty\nAbility to support international travel for factory builds
