Genesis10 is currently seeking a ServiceNow Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities: - Manage the project/program and is responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a large complexity program across multiple departments across global technology aligned to Core Technology Infrastructure
- Manage, lead and direct the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the program/project
- Responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams to deliver the intended program/project solution
- Manage and lead program/project execution, integration and implementation and ensure all applicable change requirements are satisfied
- Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the program/project
- Fully accountable for engaging the appropriate partners across multiple LOB and Enterprise partner organizations to drive the work and to deliver against expected outcomes and timelines
- Provide thought leadership, customer focus, and end-to-end business process knowledge to deliver transformative results
- Interact with all levels of the organization to support the development and delivery or the project/program
- Facilitate review of current state analysis, connecting information to other projects/work streams
- Translate scope and objectives into project requirement, project tactical and strategic objectives, and action plans
- Responsible for the development of documentation, presentation materials, status updates, reporting on project/program accomplishments, escalations, and plans
- Comfortable developing projects/programs from the ground up and proposing execution strategies
- Responsible for monitoring routines & controls to gauge project/program health
- Responsible for ensuring projects are executed in accordance with the Enterprise Change Management Policy and Standards
- Responsible for finances and engaging external teams timely
- Manage Program/Project Scope, Timeline and Budget/Expenses; Obtain and align resources to key program/project roles
- Define and document program/project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
- Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Set and continually manage program/project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Identify and manage program/project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule program/project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Work with Product Manager and Product Owners in creation of INITIATIVE based Program/Project objective deliverables in JIRA
- Own, assist and or work with Release train Engineer (RTE) and Scrum Masters to facilitate and run PI Planning sessions as well as the daily scrum sessions
- Ensure that the Scrum cadences/ceremonies are met as needed to meet the project objectives
- Work with Product Owners and Teams to track and understand status of Epics/Features and Stories to be able to roll up the status to Program / Project objective-based deliverables in JIRA
- Understand the alignment and mapping of INITIATIVE deliverables to Value streams in a Portfolio
- Provides a rollup view of INITIATIVE Program/Project/Risk SIAI, MRA, RIAI, Objective deliverable reports in the form of Power points, JIRA Dashboards, Portfolio Plans, JIRA Align, Agile View or any other format based on the pulse of the customer and their needs
- Accountable for working and obtaining timely change evidence from Tech owners and other stakeholders to meet Enterprise Change standard compliance for all material and base initiative funded projects
Requirements: - Broad technical background direct knowledge of ServiceNow
- Problem-solving & communications skills, including significant experience facilitating communication among technologists, technology managers, and non-technology managers
