Job Details

The Superintendent serves as the on-site leader responsible for the overall execution of multifamily construction projects from groundbreaking through project completion. This individual will oversee subcontractors, maintain project schedules, ensure quality standards, and promote a culture of safety across the jobsite.

Current and upcoming projects are located throughout:
  • San Diego County
  • Greater Los Angeles Area
  • Bay Area
  • Santa Cruz County
  • Sacramento Region
  • Central Valley

Responsibilities
  • Lead all field operations from site mobilization through project turnover.
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily jobsite activities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance.
  • Ensure project quality standards are met throughout construction.
  • Coordinate inspections and maintain relationships with local jurisdictions.
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues.
  • Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and project teams.
  • Deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within established goals.

Required Qualifications
  • Current OSHA 30 Certification.
  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience required.
  • Experience leading projects from site work through turnover.
  • Experience with wood-frame, podium, wrap, or mixed-use multifamily developments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on projects valued at $20M+.
  • California multifamily construction experience.
  • Mixed-use or podium construction experience.
  • OSHA 500 or additional safety certifications.
