.NET Architect – AWS & Financial Domain

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Architect with strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem while leveraging AWS cloud architecture. This role requires strong technical leadership, architectural design skills, and experience building secure and scalable financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET technologies.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical direction to development teams.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Develop microservices-based architectures and modern API-driven systems.
• Ensure applications meet financial industry security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide teams on best practices in coding, design patterns, and cloud architecture.
• Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Mentor developers and help build strong engineering capabilities within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in software development using .NET technologies.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core / .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as:
• EC2
• S3
• Lambda
• API Gateway
• RDS / DynamoDB
• CloudFormation / Terraform
• Experience designing Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
• Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance in financial systems.
• Prior experience working in the Financial Services / Banking / Capital Markets domain.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are highly preferred.
