About the Role

We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to define and drive the architecture of an enterprise-grade agentic AI platform. You will own the technical direction across RAG pipelines, MCP/tool-layer integrations, agent orchestration, and hybrid workflow execution. This role requires deep architectural expertise, hands-on engineering capability, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, production-ready AI systems.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture for an enterprise agentic AI platform.
Design scalable solutions across RAG, MCP connectors, agent orchestration, and workflow integration.
Define patterns for stateless AI, governed tool invocation, reusable connectors, and secure data access.
Architect retrieval pipelines using Pinecone, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
Lead integration strategy for systems such as Appian, ERP platforms, DealCloud, Backstop CRM, Snowflake, and Graph DB.
Establish hybrid orchestration patterns where AI augments deterministic workflows.
Provide technical leadership to distributed engineering teams and ensure delivery quality.

Minimum Qualifications

8-10+ years in software, platform, or AI engineering.
1-2+ years designing enterprise AI or agentic systems.
Strong hands-on experience with RAG pipelines and vector retrieval.
Expertise with LangChain/LlamaIndex, Pinecone, Azure OpenAI.
Strong background in API-based integration, OAuth, and secure service-to-service patterns.
Experience designing MCP/tool-layer interfaces for LLM systems.
Experience guiding distributed engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with FastMCP or similar frameworks.
Experience with stateless AI architectures and governed action layers.
Familiarity with Graph DBs, Snowflake, Appian, DealCloud, or Backstop CRM.
Experience with hybrid orchestration across AI, workflow, and transactional systems.
Exposure to enterprise observability, auditability, and AI governance.
