The SAP FSCM Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting the
Financial Supply Chain Management components within SAP ECC or S/4HANA. This role focuses on improving
credit risk management, dispute resolution, collections processes, and overall receivables performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. FSCM Module Implementation & Configuration
Implement, configure, and customize SAP FSCM modules including Credit Management,
Collections Management, and Dispute Management.
Support configuration of Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment (EBPP) and optionally
Treasury & Risk Management
Optimize Credit Check Rules, scoring models, workflows, and dispute processes.
Implement end to end AR process improvements leveraging FSCM capabilities.
2. Business Requirements & Functional Design
Collaborate with clients or business partners to gather and analyze financial process requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications and FSCM solution designs
Develop and review Functional Specifications (FS) for RICEFW objects and collaborate with
technical teams for custom developments
3. Integrations & Cross Functional Alignment
Ensure integration between FSCM and core SAP modules such as FI, SD, and AR/AP, as well as
third party credit scoring systems.
Collaborate with SAP Basis, ABAP, and functional teams to ensure smooth business
process flows and system performance.
4. Testing, Training & Support
Conduct functional, integration, and UAT testing for FSCM processes
Provide business user training, documentation, and go live support
Troubleshoot and resolve FSCM production issues efficiently
5. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
Stay updated with S/4HANA innovations in FSCM and implement best practices
Recommend process enhancements to improve automation, cash flow visibility, dispute
cycle times, and receivables performance.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as an SAP FSCM Functional Consultant (Credit, Collections, Dispute)
Strong knowledge of FI AR, credit processes, collections workflows, and dispute resolution
Understanding of S/4HANA FSCM architecture and differences from ECC.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
Experience with Treasury Management, cash management, and banking integrations (DMEE, Lockbox, EBS)
Familiarity with Fiori apps for Credit, Collections, and Dispute.
SAP certification in FSCM is a plus.
Experience in large enterprise/global deployment environments.
