Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Information Technology team and support the ongoing development, enhancement, and optimization of a global Salesforce ecosystem. This role will work closely with Administrators, Business Analysts, Architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions across multiple Salesforce organizations operating worldwide.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and Salesforce platform architecture, while demonstrating technical leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Solution Development

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using:
  • Apex (including asynchronous processing, Platform Events, and Invocable Actions)
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce Flows and other declarative tools
  • Enterprise-grade integrations and APIs
• Build secure, maintainable, and high-performance applications that support evolving business requirements.

Platform Optimization & Technical Excellence

• Optimize application performance and scalability for high-volume environments.
• Refactor legacy components and reduce technical debt through modern development practices.
• Implement secure coding standards and platform best practices.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead code reviews and establish development standards across the Salesforce team.
• Mentor developers and administrators to strengthen overall team capabilities.
• Provide guidance on development approaches, design patterns, and platform best practices.

Troubleshooting & Production Support

• Diagnose and resolve complex Level 4 production issues.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve platform reliability.
• Support business-critical applications and ensure system stability.

Solution Design & Architecture Support

• Contribute to solution design discussions and architectural decision-making.
• Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility assessments, and buy-versus-build analyses.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate recommendations.

Governance & Compliance

• Partner with Business Analysts, Administrators, and Architects to ensure adherence to governance standards.
• Maintain compliance with coding standards, documentation requirements, testing protocols, and deployment processes.
• Promote best practices in platform security, data integrity, and release management.

DevOps & Release Management

• Support CI/CD initiatives and automated testing strategies.
• Participate in release planning, deployment validation, and environment management.
• Improve development lifecycle processes and deployment efficiency.

Technical Documentation

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including:
  • Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)
  • Sequence Diagrams
  • Integration Architecture Maps
  • Runbooks
  • Release Notes
  • Solution Design Documents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership on cross-functional Salesforce initiatives.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Apex Development
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce Flows
  • Data Modeling
  • Salesforce Security & Sharing
  • Integration Patterns and APIs
  • Platform Limits and Performance Optimization
• Experience working with Salesforce DevOps tools and practices, including:
  • Version Control Systems (Git)
  • CI/CD Pipelines
  • Automated Testing
  • Code Quality Tools
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and application lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
• Additional Salesforce certifications beyond the required credentials.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Salesforce environments.
• Familiarity with complex system integrations and middleware platforms.
