Job Description:

• FDNY is looking for a highly skilled ArcGIS Developer to design, build and maintain enterprise grade geospatial applications.
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on GIS
• ArcGIS Enterprise: Deep understanding of Portal for ArcGIS, GeoEvent Server, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store.
• Application Development: Build and deploy interactive web mapping applications using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and Java, Spring Boot
• Python: Advanced scripting for geoprocessing
• SQL: Proficiency in writing complex spatial joins and queries

Required Skills:

• ArcGIS API for Python: Experience using this for "DevOps for GIS " automating user management, content audits, and cloning environments between Dev, Test, and Production.
• ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x): Mastery of the 4.x series, particularly creating custom widgets and handling 3D visualizations.

Web Frameworks:

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, React, Angular, or Vue.js is highly desirable. Most modern ArcGIS web apps (built with the Maps SDK for JS) are integrated into these frameworks.
