Job Description:

Security Engineering & Software Development:

Design and develop secure software components, APIs, and microservices that support cybersecurity testing and automation.
Build and maintain integrations between vulnerability scanning tools, penetration testing platforms, and enterprise SIEM platforms such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
Develop scalable data ingestion pipelines that normalize and forward security telemetry to monitoring systems.
Implement secure coding practices to ensure the reliability and resilience of developed security tools.

Penetration Testing Enablement:

Deploy and maintain penetration testing infrastructure using Kali Linux servers in virtualized or cloud-hosted environments.
Support penetration testing teams by developing automation scripts, exploit proof-of-concepts, and test harnesses.
Configure and manage penetration testing toolchains used in application and infrastructure security testing.
Assist red team and application security teams in automating testing workflows and evidence collection.

SIEM Integration & Security Data Engineering:

Design and implement connectors and APIs that integrate enterprise security tools with SIEM platforms.
Build log parsing, enrichment, and normalization mechanisms to improve threat detection accuracy.
Automate alert enrichment and correlation workflows to enhance security monitoring.
Work closely with cybersecurity operations teams to improve threat detection and incident response capabilities.

Automation & Scripting:

Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline security testing and operational tasks.
Build automated security workflows for vulnerability assessment, log analysis, and reporting.
Support the development of CI/CD pipelines for security tool deployment and integration.

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering:

Design scalable and resilient architectures for security tools and platforms.
Support containerized or virtualized lab environments using technologies such as Docker and virtualization platforms such as VMware.
Maintain version control repositories and ensure proper documentation of developed solutions.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure solutions align with organizational security standards and regulatory frameworks.
Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and security risk assessments.
Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications:

Mandatory 8 - 10 Years Experience in below:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Professional software development experience.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience developing REST APIs and integrating enterprise platforms.
Hands-on scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience deploying and administering Linux systems.
Familiarity with SIEM technologies such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and secure coding practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

5–8 years of professional software development experience.
Experience building security automation frameworks and platform integrations.
Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and environments based on Kali Linux.
Experience designing and implementing security data pipelines and SIEM integrations.
Experience with containerization, virtualization, or cloud-based lab environments.
Ability to design scalable security tool architectures supporting enterprise security operations.
Experience working in regulated environments such as government or healthcare organizations.

Preferred Certifications:

Candidates with one or more of the following certifications are highly desirable:

OSCP from Offensive Security
CEH from EC-Council
Security+ from CompTIA
CISSP from ISC2
Splunk Developer or SIEM integration certification
Linux administration certification
