DevOps Engineer

Introduction:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our team by implementing and managing the tools, processes, and infrastructure necessary to support our development and production environments. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant technologies.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Implement and maintain containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, improve efficiency, and optimize performance.
• Implement and enforce IAM and DevSecOps best practices to ensure data security and compliance.
• Monitor and analyze system performance using tools like Datadog to identify and address any issues proactively.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Teraform to streamline operations.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Powershell for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins for automated testing and deployment.
• Understanding of IAM and DevSecOps practices for security and compliance.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to write infrastructure as code using Teraform for provisioning and configuration.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Certifications in relevant technologies such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Certified Administrator.
