Title: Procurement Lead

Overview:
As a Procurement Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategic sourcing initiatives supporting our Mobility Division with their IT indirect spend portfolio, including Professional Services, Hardware, Software, Cloud and more. While you will oversee a broad range of categories, this role places a strong emphasis on technology sourcing—delivering value through strategic supplier partnerships, cost optimization, and supporting *** Global’s digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
o Strategic Sourcing Leadership:
• Lead the design and execution of sourcing strategies, with a focus on technology spend (cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, IT services).
• Partner with IT, Digital, and business leaders to align procurement objectives with divisional technology goals and roadmaps.
o Sourcing Execution & Negotiation:
• Oversee complex, high-value sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, negotiations), with direct responsibility for agreements with major technology vendors (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce).
• Ensure best-in-class commercial outcomes, robust risk mitigation, and compliance with contractual commitments.
o Category Management & Value Delivery:
• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and supplier innovation initiatives across all categories, leveraging deep market intelligence and benchmarking.
• Drive adoption of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and advanced analytics to inform sourcing decisions.
o Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement:
• Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to senior stakeholders, particularly in the technology space, providing market insights and strategic recommendations.
• Build and manage executive-level relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
o Governance, Risk & Transformation:
• Ensure strong governance and compliance across all sourcing activities, with a focus on technology risk management and supplier performance.
• Lead and champion procurement transformation and digitalization initiatives, including e-Sourcing and AI-driven tools.
Qualifications:
o Master’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required (field of study flexible).
o Min. 8 years or more of progressive procurement experience, with significant expertise in technology sourcing and supplier management.
o Proven success leading sourcing and negotiations with global technology vendors (AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.), as well as other indirect categories.
o Advanced proficiency with e-Sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba) and digital procurement tools.
o Strong understanding of software licensing, cloud consumption, and technology contracting.
o Experience in risk management, compliance, and supplier governance frameworks.
