Summary

Position: Cybersecurity Project Manager

Location: 100% REMOTE
Employment mode: Contract position

Seeking a Cyber Project Manager to lead digital resiliency and cybersecurity projects that strengthen the organization s ability to prevent, withstand, and recover from technology disruptions. This role drives cross-functional initiatives across Cybersecurity, IT, and Business Continuity teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of resiliency and cybersecurity projects.
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports.
Coordinate resources across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Risk teams.
Support initiatives such as disaster recovery improvements, incident response updates, backup modernization, and resilience tooling deployment.
Track risks, issues, and dependencies; ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Communicate project status to technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Improve project processes, documentation, and reporting practices.

Qualifications

3 7+ years of experience in IT or cyber project management.
Understanding of cybersecurity, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience concepts.
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
Bachelor s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred: PMP, CAPM, CSM, CISM, or CRISC certifications; cloud experience (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform).
