Sr Data Scientist

Job Title: Senior Data Scientist
Location: Woodlawn, MD / Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and maintain statistical and ML models using Python, SAS, and R

• Perform advanced analytics on large-scale big data environments

• Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows (Greenplum preferred)

• Translate complex analysis into insights for senior leadership

• Collaborate with SMEs and Product Owners in an Agile environment

• Mentor junior data scientists and support delivery excellence

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of data science experience in large-scale/big data environments

• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, ML, NLP, and feature engineering

• Hands-on experience with SAS, Python, R

• Experience integrating claims, payment, or administrative data

• Knowledge of productionizing models and MLOps best practices

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
