This role is located in our Sunnyvale, CA office and has a schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities:- Lead Arena PLM administration including part number creation, multi-level BOM management, item master maintenance, ERP synchronization, user access control, and lifecycle state governance
- Own end-to-end change management processes, facilitating CCB meetings, processing ECOs/MCOs/deviations, ensuring technically accurate change documentation, maintaining strict revision control, and verifying proper inventory disposition for contract manufacturers
- Serve as final reviewer of engineering drawings prior to release, validating clarity, dimensions, revision blocks, and GD&T compliance to ASME Y14.5 standards while maintaining SolidWorks templates and ensuring system synchronization between CAD and PLM
- Support NPI builds (EVT/DVT/PVT) by ensuring BOM and drawing readiness, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain, mitigating documentation risks, and driving adherence to company and industry standards
Required Skills:- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 3+ years of experience in Configuration Management, PLM Administration, Document Control, or Mechanical Design Support within a hardware or consumer electronics environment
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Arena PLM, including complex BOM structuring and ECO workflow management
- Understanding of 2D detailing and drawing management
- Understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
- Demonstrated ownership of Engineering Change processes and documentation control
- Experience managing revision control across mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain
Preferred:- Certified SolidWorks Professional or similar drafting certification
- Experience integrating PLM systems with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or SAP
- Experience supporting overseas Contract Manufacturers
- Experience in fast-paced hardware development environments

This position offersa base salary range from $145,000 to $199,000 a year, determined by relevant skills and experience, and a generous benefits plan.
