Job Title: HR Project Manager (AI Automation)
Terms of Employment:
W2 Contract-to-Hire, 6 Months

Join an innovative "Emerging Technology" team within a global professional services firm. This role is dedicated to managing the lifecycle of AI, RPA, and automation projects specifically for the Talent/HR department. You will ensure that new tech initiatives from AI chatbots to automated workflows are delivered with discipline and integrated seamlessly into HR operations. You will
Lead the planning and execution of AI, RPA, and automation pilots and proofs of concept.
Partner with the Emerging Technology team to move ideas from the "intake" phase through to full-scale deployment.
Manage the governance and decision-making process for new AI requests.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings between technical automation teams and HR stakeholders.
Prepare executive-level presentations and materials to communicate project progress and risks.
Ensure projects follow waterfall rigor while incorporating iterative practices where necessary.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of PM experience managing complex, cross-functional technical initiatives.
Demonstrated experience with AI, RPA, or Automation projects (e.g., UI Path, Automation Anywhere, or Copilot).
Strong HR domain knowledge (Talent Acquisition, HR Ops, etc.).
Proven ability to drive execution in a matrixed environment without direct authority over technical resources.
Experience in high-visibility, sensitive project environments (e.g., acquisitions or global rollouts).
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or Copilot Agents.
Proficiency in Smartsheet and ServiceNow.
PMP Certification.
Experience with Change Management (OCM) and transitioning new tech to "steady-state" ownership.
