Summary
AI Project Manager (Junior Level)
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a technology project coordinator, scrum master, or junior PM.
- AI & Data Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle (must know the difference between training, testing, and deployment).
- Agile Competency: Practical experience executing Scrum or Kanban workflows.
- Tools: Daily proficiency with standard PM tracking software and collaborative documentation workspaces.
Core Responsibilities (Must Do)
- Track Development: Run daily standups and manage sprint boards using Jira, Asana, or Confluence to keep AI sprints on schedule.
- Bridge Communication: Translate technical updates from data scientists and ML engineers into clear status reports for business stakeholders.
- Manage Data Pipelines: Coordinate the schedules for data collection, cleaning, and labeling so engineering teams have the assets they need.
- Document Progress: Maintain clear project logs tracking model versions, training datasets, and performance metrics.
