About the Role

SEI is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our [specific team, e.g., Wealth Platform/Investment Manager Services] division. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance financial applications. You will leverage your deep expertise in .NET and Angular to build robust solutions that support institutional and individual investors.
You will work closely with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to modernize our trading platforms, portfolio management systems, and client reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Design and develop end-to-end web applications using C# (.NET Core/.NET 6/8) for backend services and Angular (2+) for responsive front-end interfaces.
• Financial Domain Implementation: Translate complex financial business requirements (e.g., trading workflows, reconciliations, fee processing) into technical specifications and scalable code.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in design patterns, SOLID principles, and security standards.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability-critical for real-time financial data processing.
• Integration: Develop and consume RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrate with third-party financial data providers.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers within the SEI engineering team.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and collaborate with QA for test automation strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:

• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• At least 5+ years of recent experience with .NET Core / C#.
• At least 4+ years of recent experience with Angular (versions 8+) .

Technical Expertise:

• Backend: Strong proficiency in C#, Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and LINQ.
• Frontend: Deep understanding of Angular architecture (Modules, Components, Services, RxJS, State Management like NgRx).
• Database: Strong experience with SQL Server (or similar RDBMS) including stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
• Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure-Azure DevOps, App Services, or AWS).
• Version Control: Proficient in Git and GitFlow branching strategies.

Domain Knowledge (Highly Preferred):

• Experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management, or FinTech.
• Familiarity with financial concepts such as trading systems, portfolio accounting, or regulatory reporting (e.g., SEC, MiFID).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe or Scrum).

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous delivery.
