Summary:
Client is seeking a forward-thinking SAP BTP & Integration Architect to support a large-scale enterprise transformation program within the energy and utilities industry. This role will focus on modernizing how SAP transactional data and business events are exposed to and consumed by downstream enterprise and customer-facing platforms.
The architect will help establish an event-driven architecture that enables transactions occurring within SAP to be published and consumed by systems such as Salesforce, AWS/Amazon Connect, CRM, IVR/IVA, and other digital platforms.
This is primarily an architecture, design, and governance role rather than a hands-on development position. The individual will establish the patterns and standards that internal architects, engineering teams, and vendor resources will use to implement these capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong experience architecting SAP integration solutions within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with SAP BTP and/or modern SAP integration technologies and architecture patterns.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, publish/subscribe patterns, APIs, messaging, and enterprise integration.
- Experience designing solutions that expose SAP transactions and data to downstream applications.
- Strong understanding of SAP transactional processes and the relationship between SAP and subscribing enterprise systems.
- Ability to establish architecture standards and provide governance across internal and third-party engineering teams.
- Experience operating at the enterprise architecture level and influencing technical direction across multiple teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge SAP and non-SAP technology teams.
