Job Title : ServiceNow Product Owner – CSM

Location :  Minneapolis, MN 


 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Product Owner with strong expertise in Customer Service Management (CSM) to drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and delivery. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring scalable solutions aligned with business goals while maintaining an efficient Agile delivery process on the ServiceNow platform.


 Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the product roadmap for ServiceNow CSM aligned with business objectives

  • Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog with clear, actionable user stories

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders

  • Drive Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Ensure timely delivery of scalable and high-quality solutions

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product demonstrations

  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams

  • Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements

  • Support change management initiatives including training materials, user guides, and communication plans

  • Ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes across teams


 Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner

  • Strong experience working with ServiceNow, especially CSM and CMDB

Platform Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of:

    • Customer Service Management (CSM)

    • Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

    • Service Portal

    • Workflow Automation

    • Performance Analytics

    • Integrations

Agile & Methodologies

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks

  • Experience with backlog management, sprint planning, and user story creation

  • Familiarity with SAFe methodology

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of APIs and system integrations

  • Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript preferred)

  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools

Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM) preferred
