Position : Sr AI FDE
Location : Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC, or Dallas, TX(Hybrid)
Duration : Long term
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The FDE works directly inside a business unit or with an external partner to identify an unclear problem, shape the solution, build and deploy production software, and stay accountable through stabilization and handoff. The role combines software engineering, applied AI, and business discovery.
Core responsibilities
. Discover and scope problems by observing real workflows and working with business stakeholders.
. Build and review production AI systems, including agent workflows and integrations with enterprise systems.
. Direct agent assisted delivery at L2 and define outcomes and architectural guardrails for more autonomous development at L3.
. Create evaluation suits whether AI systems are accurate, safe, and ready for use.
. Stabilize deployments, hand them to the owning team, and share reusable patterns across the organization.
Qualification –
. At least five years in senior individual contributor role and a record of owning production software.
. Full stack engineering, production LLM and agent experience, system design for reliable agent workflows, comfort with ambiguity, and clear communication with business stakeholders.
. Experience with forward deployed or applied AI work, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), agent frameworks, and reusable deployment practices.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
