Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and support SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions, primarily within Plant Maintenance (PM) and Customer Service (CS) modules.
  • Provide production support using ITIL practices, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Develop and deliver utilities industry-specific solution designs for complex, interdependent business processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, plan, and execute end-to-end asset management solutions.
  • Support integration of SAP EAM with related systems such as Asset Investment Planning, Scheduling, Mobility solutions, Graphical Work Management, and GIS applications.
  • Maintain application configurations, system documentation, and technical procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with SDLC methodologies, quality assurance processes, and testing standards.
  • Provide ongoing support for asset management solutions including SAP, spatial asset management, and asset performance tools.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Support usage of handheld devices, RFID technologies, and ESRI spatial solutions within asset management processes.

Required Skills And Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Customer Service (CS) modules.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP EAM functional design and configuration.
  • Proven experience in utilities industry environments with EAM solutions.
  • Experience with ITIL processes for production support.
  • Strong knowledge of system design, application development, and integration.
  • Proficiency in data and information management practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with S/4HANA implementations or support.
  • Familiarity with GIS integrations and spatial asset management tools (e.g., ESRI).
  • Experience with asset performance management tools such as Ventyx (Hitachi) or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of mobility solutions, scheduling tools, and wireless/handheld device integration.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and across all SDLC phases.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong customer-facing and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results.
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and process improvement.
