Partner with customers to design and implement satellite systems by offering technical oversight and applying advanced satellite systems engineering expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle. Ensure all engineering efforts remain aligned with mission objectives, technical baselines, and schedule constraints.
Supervise prime contractors' system development efforts to ensure compliance with customer-defined requirements, risk thresholds, budgets, and schedules. Evaluate technical solutions provided by contractors and deliver well-informed recommendations for optimal Courses of Action (COAs).
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware and software engineering groups, to achieve seamless system integration and ensure mission success. Actively promote transparent communication and alignment within the team to address technical challenges and devise effective solutions.
Critically assess contractor performance during key program milestones by evaluating adherence to technical requirements and quality standards of deliverables. Formulate actionable recommendations to optimize project performance and increase the likelihood of mission success.
Lead risk management efforts across the systems engineering lifecycle, conducting risk assessments, formulating mitigation strategies, and proactively monitoring potential impacts. Ensure risks are effectively mitigated to preserve mission success and program integrity.
