Senior Oracle Procurement Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Oracle Procurement Functional Consultant to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Procurement solutions. With a minimum of 15 years of deep ERP and Supply Chain experience, you will act as the principal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise-scale transformations.

In this fully remote role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and system capabilities, driving industry best practices across the Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycles. You will guide executive stakeholders, architect robust functional designs, and mentor technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performing Oracle Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Serve as the functional lead for Oracle Cloud SCM – Procurement, spearheading discovery workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and executive-level process reviews.

• Solution Architecture & Design: Translate complex business requirements into comprehensive functional designs, conducting detailed fit-gap analyses and mapping out optimized S2P and P2P workflows.

• System Configuration: Perform hands-on, end-to-end configuration across core Oracle Cloud Procurement modules, including Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification Management (SQM), Procurement Contracts, and Self-Service Procurement.

• Cross-Functional Integration: Partner closely with Oracle Financials (AP, GL) and Inventory functional leads to ensure seamless data flow and process integration across the enterprise landscape.

• Documentation & Methodology: Develop and maintain meticulous project documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts.

• Testing & Deployment: Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot complex functional defects, and ensure a smooth transition through cutover and post-go-live hypercare.

• Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and peer reviews for junior onshore and offshore consulting teams.

• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate quarterly Oracle Cloud release updates, advising stakeholders on new features, UI enhancements (e.g., Oracle Redwood), and process automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive functional consulting experience within the Oracle ecosystem (Oracle EBS / Cloud SCM and ERP).

• 7+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement applications.

• Proven track record of serving as the Functional Lead on at least 4 to 5 full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations at the enterprise level.

• Deep functional expertise across the entire Procurement suite (Purchasing, Sourcing, SQM, Contracts, and Self-Service Procurement).

• Strong understanding of downstream financial impacts, specifically Oracle Payables and project accounting integrations.

• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops, influence decision-making, and manage stakeholder expectations remotely.

• Proficiency in designing reporting requirements for OTBI and BI Publisher.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Oracle Cloud SCM / Procurement Certification.

• Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for third-party procurement integrations (e.g., punchout catalogs, EDI).

• Familiarity with the Oracle Redwood user interface and modern Oracle design paradigms.

• Prior experience migrating legacy on-premise supply chain systems to Oracle Cloud.
