Job Title: Snowflake Integration Lead
Location: Remote
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Integration Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions leveraging Snowflake and modern cloud data technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud platforms, data integration, and data architecture, along with the ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data integration solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources.
- Define integration architecture, data flows, interfaces, and technical standards.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to build and support data solutions.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.
- Integrate Snowflake with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Design and implement batch and real-time/streaming data integration solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and Snowflake workloads.
- Implement data quality, security, governance, and performance best practices.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, design sessions, and solution planning.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineering and integration teams.
- Support migration of legacy data platforms and ETL processes to Snowflake.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related technology roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of data integration patterns, APIs, batch processing, and real-time data pipelines.
- Experience with Python and/or other programming languages used for data engineering.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and enterprise data architecture.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Snowpipe, Snowpark, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Snowflake APIs.
- Experience with dbt or similar modern data transformation frameworks.
- Experience integrating Snowflake with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
- Snowflake certification is a plus.
- Experience leading offshore/onshore technical teams.
- Strong experience managing multiple integration projects and priorities.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
