Summary

Job Title: Mainframe z/OS System Programmer

Location: Chandler, AZ, Plano, TX & Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

Install and maintain z/OS operating systems and system software.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
Troubleshoot z/OS system problems and resolve incidents.
Manage JES2, TSO, SDSF, USS, and system parameters.
Work with DASD, storage, and system resources.
Manage SMP/E for software installation and maintenance.
Support IPL, system startup/shutdown, and disaster recovery activities.
Review system logs and investigate errors.
Work with application, storage, network, security, and database teams.
Create and maintain JCL, PROCs, and system procedures when required.
Implement security and system configuration changes.
Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call activities, if required.
