Title : Remote OCI Linux admin
Duration : 6 Months
Location : Remote
Job Description:
- Installation, configuration and Migration of RedHat/Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Disk and file system management
- Sound experience in Linux LVM
- User management
- Package management and YUM configuration
- Apply OS patches and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
- OS Hardening understanding
- Perform ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization as required.
- Basic Knowledge in Networking and Subnet.
- Network management and troubleshooting
- Should have knowledge of NFS, SSH, FTP, Send mail, NTP and DNS services
- IP Tables & Firewalld
- Experience in directory services like LDAP system
- Experience in Shell Scripting and Ansible Automation in an advantage
- Knowledge in pacemaker cluster administration is an advantage
