Job Descriptiononsemi is seeking a NPD Engineer to lead new product development projects for an
onsemi Manufacturing site. This person will be able to lead cross-functional teams, manage programs, and meet project deadlines to maximize the volume for new product releases. This position requires continual interactions with both internal and external business executives to ensure the project outputs align with the organization.
Responsibilities- Define NPD program requirements with stakeholders
- Manage many key NPD programs in parallel from across different Technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure that NPD projects complete on schedule
- Create project plans with measurable objectives, an achievable schedule, and minimized risks to align with the business case
- Resolve problems encountered during the project development by consulting technical experts and aligning resources to remove roadblocks
- Track, document and report each program's performance against the original project plan, identify and address gaps, proactively assess and mitigate risks, and communicate comprehensive status to stakeholders and senior management
Qualifications- Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, preferably in electrical or electronics
- 0-2 years of semiconductor experience (new product introduction, cost savings, transfers, manufacturing flow, specification, application, cost, quality) and execution management experience
- 0-2 project management experience or in roles with a strong project management component, PMP certification is a plus
Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is$65,800 to $102,100 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of the internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package. ;br>
