Remote: Technical Business Analyst with Energy/Utilities domain

Role Summary

We need an experienced “Tech Business Analyst” for an Energy client. The person will work in an Agile team, interact with business stakeholders, understand requirements, and translate them into clear technical tasks for developers. Some knowledge of the Energy domain is required.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders

Convert business needs into user stories and technical specifications

Write and manage user stories in JIRA

Create workflows, diagrams, and documentation

Work closely with developers, QA, and offshore teams

Help prioritize work and support sprint planning

Provide domain input and suggest practical solutions

Coordinate across multiple teams (BA, IT, QA)

Required Skills

8+ years as a Business Analyst (with some PM responsibilities)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment

Understanding of APIs, integrations, and system communication diagrams

Strong communication and analytical skills

Ability to handle multiple projects

Good documentation skills (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project)

Energy/Utilities domain knowledge preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
