Summary
- Own the overall Tenable One Advanced architecture design across the customer''''s distributed infrastructure footprint
- Lead OT Security deployment strategy: sensor placement, passive monitoring configuration, zone segmentation, and tuning — this is a day-one priority for the customer
- Design and implement the Vulnerability Management program: scan architecture, asset classification, SLA frameworks, and remediation workflows
- Stand up and configure Attack Surface Management (ASM) to establish external exposure visibility
- Architect and configure Tenable Identity Exposure to monitor AD risk posture and detect identity-based attack paths
- Integrate Tenable Cloud Security across the customer''''s cloud environment(s); align findings to existing cloud governance processes
- Build the unified Tenable One asset inventory and define tagging taxonomy for the customer''''s environment
- Define and implement the managed vulnerability operations model: triage workflow, remediation loop, escalation paths, and reporting cadence
- Serve as the primary technical interface to the customer''''s security leadership and engineering teams
- Mentor and direct one or more Junior Tenable Engineers on the engagement
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, deployment runbooks, and executive-facing reporting
- Identify expansion opportunities and feed account intelligence back to the client account team
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Tenable platforms at enterprise scale
- Deep expertise across Tenable One Advanced modules: Tenable.io (VM), OT Security, Identity Exposure, ASM, and Cloud Security
- Proven experience deploying Tenable OT Security in industrial or critical infrastructure environments — sensor placement, passive traffic capture, Purdue model alignment
- Experience architecting VM programs for large, distributed environments: scan zone design, scanner hierarchy, agent strategy, cloud connectors
- Strong understanding of Active Directory attack paths and identity risk — including Tenable Identity Exposure rule sets and indicator configuration
- Experience with ASM onboarding, asset attribution, and integration into the broader VM workflow
- Ability to design and lead the managed vulnerability operations lifecycle: intake, triage, prioritization, remediation tracking, SLA enforcement
- Comfortable owning customer-facing technical conversations at the engineering and security leadership level
- Experience leading technical teams or junior engineers in a services delivery context
- Strong documentation and communication skills — architecture diagrams, runbooks, executive briefings
- Tenable Certified Professional (TCP) or Tenable One Advanced certification
- Experience integrating Tenable with SIEM, SOAR, or ITSM platforms (Splunk, ServiceNow, Cortex XSOAR)
- Familiarity with NERC CIP, IEC 62443, or other OT/ICS regulatory frameworks
- Background in OT/ICS environments (manufacturing, energy, utilities, or similar)
- Experience in a similar managed services engagement model
- Ability to contribute to account strategy and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within the engagement
