Software Engineer (Cloud & Full Stack Development)

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Kforce has a client in Winchester, VA (hybrid) seeking a Software Engineer (Cloud & Full Stack Development).

Are you a software engineer passionate about building innovative solutions in a mission-driven environment? We are seeking an experienced developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable applications leveraging cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices.

What You'll Do:
* Design, develop, test, and implement software applications using Agile methodologies
* Build and maintain full-stack solutions utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies
* Develop, enhance, and maintain source code for new and existing applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges
* Support cloud-based application development and modernization initiatives
* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of software development experience
* 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following: AWS Cloud Solutions; Python; C#;Java
* Experience developing applications in Linux environments
* Experience with Java and JavaScript development
* Experience building end-to-end software solutions using front-end and back-end technologies
* Experience writing, modifying, and enhancing application source code
* Experience working within Agile development environments
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams to deliver solutions
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring, MongoDB, and OSGi
* Experience with Perl, Python, Lua, and NGINX
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
