Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using C# and .NET Core.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and scalable software components.
- Develop efficient database solutions using SQL, including query optimization, data modeling, and performance improvements.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, including automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Utilize Visual Studio and modern development tools to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices, standards, and continuous improvements.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must have skills: C# & .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, REST API Development & Backend Engineering, SQL Server / Database Development, Azure Cloud, CI/CD & DevOps, Software Design Principles & Testing, Debugging, Troubleshooting & Production Support
- Strong professional experience with C#, .NET Core, and backend software development.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and distributed services.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases, data structures, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and application deployments.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar DevOps automation tools.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and modern software development practices.
- Knowledge of software design principles, testing practices, and secure coding standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience working in cloud-based enterprise environments.
