Overview:
The Employee Digital Experience team is looking for a Principal, Enterprise Operations to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role:
Integrate Zscaler services (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC) into enterprise identity, device, cloud, andsecurity platforms.
- Design scalable architectures for App Connectors, Branch Connectors, and Service Edges.
- Automate Zscaler configuration, policy workflows, and onboarding processes.
- Build reusable modules and patterns enabling self-service secure connectivity.
- Maintain, optimize, and monitor performance, traffic flow, authentication, and security events.
- Provide full operational support for all Zscaler platforms, including troubleshooting, ticket response, outage support, and coordination with Zscaler TAC.
- Troubleshoot distributed issues across networking, DNS, SSL inspection, and identity layers.
- Provide end-user PC support related to Zscaler Client Connector, including agent installation, log collection, connectivity testing, remediation of agent failures, posture checks, and device-level policy conflicts.
- Diagnose endpoint issues such as corrupted agents, missing services, certificate errors, tunnel connectivity failures, and OS-level conflicts affecting Zscaler traffic forwarding.
- Partner with desktop support teams to develop troubleshooting guides, automation for agent repair, and endpoint health baselines.
- Enforce enterprise security policies and support Zero Trust initiatives.
- Develop documentation such as SOPs, architecture diagrams, and configuration standards
All About You:
- Hands-on expertise with ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC, App Connectors, and Branch Connectors.
- Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, routing, VPN, NAT, IPSec.
- Experience integrating Zscaler with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and SAML.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform architectures.
- Experience with SIEM, SSL inspection, proxy chaining, and security analytics.
- Strong Windows/macOS endpoint troubleshooting skills, including registry, services, certificates, networking stacks, and system logs.
- Automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Platform engineering mindset focused on scalability, automation, and self-service.
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler deployments, operational support, and endpoint troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
