Your New Role

  • Work as an HVAC Service Technician in Cartersville, Georgia.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems.

  • Identify the cause of HVAC equipment problems using proper testing procedures and diagnostic tools.

  • Complete heating and air conditioning repairs safely and according to established service procedures.

  • Verify system operation and performance after service or repair work is completed.

  • Work in residential environments, including attics and crawl spaces when required.

  • Use HVAC diagnostic equipment, Bluetooth tools, mobile technology, and service software as part of your daily workflow.

  • Work with platforms and tools such as JobLink Bluetooth tools, MeasureQuick, and ServiceTitan.

  • Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and completed service work accurately.

  • Explain system conditions and available repair or installation options clearly to homeowners.

  • Make recommendations based on verified equipment conditions and customer needs.

  • Manage assigned HVAC service calls from diagnosis through completion.

  • Communicate clearly with customers, technicians, office staff, and company leadership.

  • Participate in training and professional development to strengthen your HVAC service knowledge.

  • Represent Haynes Heating & Air professionally and respectfully while working in customers\' homes.

  • Bring at least 2 years of hands-on HVAC service experience, whether your background is primarily residential or commercial.

  • Be confident troubleshooting heating and cooling systems and tracking problems back to their actual source.

  • Know how to service and repair HVAC equipment using proper diagnostic procedures rather than relying on guesswork.

  • Be comfortable using meters, gauges, and other standard HVAC testing and diagnostic equipment.

  • Commercial HVAC experience can transfer well to this position if you\'re comfortable servicing equipment in residential settings, including working in attics and crawl spaces.

  • Be able to inspect system performance, interpret diagnostic results, and determine appropriate next steps based on what you find.

  • Follow established service, diagnostic, and safety procedures while maintaining consistent workmanship from one call to the next.

  • Be comfortable working with mobile apps, digital service platforms, Bluetooth diagnostic equipment, and other technology used in modern HVAC service.

  • Familiarity with JobLink Bluetooth tools, MeasureQuick, or ServiceTitan is preferred but not required.

  • Communicate technical findings in clear, practical terms so homeowners understand the condition of their HVAC system and available service options.

  • Be organized enough to manage service calls, document your work accurately, and keep communication clear with both customers and the team.

  • Stay open to learning new equipment, diagnostic methods, technology, and HVAC service practices as the trade continues to evolve.

  • Maintain a professional approach to customer service, safety, accurate diagnostics, and quality repairs.

  • Hold a valid driver\'s license.
