Summary

Role Lead Databricks Engineer

Duration 12+ Months Contract to Hire

Location Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days Onsite)

Need Local

Role Overview:

External hire, full-time, based in Charlotte (in-office required 3 days a week)
Oversee the existing DBA team (reporting updates to the Manager)
Provide technical guidance and introduce the DBA team to Databricks

Ideal Candidate:

Hands-on Databricks experience (senior developer level)
Knowledge of database technologies: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL
AWS cloud experience
Some team lead/oversight experience (or aspiring to lead)
Financial services domain experience is a plus, not mandatory
