Job Title: Node.js Backend Engineer (Google Cloud Platform & Kubernetes)

Description:
AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Node.js Backend Engineer to join our growing team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, microservices architecture, containerization, and Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on experience in building high-performance, distributed systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build and manage RESTful APIs using Express.js
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance and reliability
- Develop and manage database solutions using PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform
- Implement best practices for application performance, scalability, and security
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Express.js framework
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
- Solid experience in Kubernetes administration and orchestration
- Experience with PostgreSQL or strong general SQL knowledge
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge of cloud security and best practices
Education Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
