High-Level Description

The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical design for capital projects, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. This role manages third-party engineering deliverables, coordinates with internal teams, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop project scope, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Oversee and review electrical design deliverables.
  • Evaluate vendor bids and support material procurement.
  • Provide technical support during construction phases.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
  • Expertise in 480V systems, motor controls, VFDs, medium voltage switchgear, and power distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of power industry standards.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
