Job Title: Security Architecture Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a Security Architecture Analyst to design and evaluate secure system architectures across applications, infrastructure, and networks. This role focuses on identifying risks, defining security controls, and ensuring systems align with organizational security standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and review system architectures for security risks and vulnerabilities
• Design and recommend secure architecture patterns and controls
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to embed security into system design
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications and platforms
• Define security standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Evaluate new technologies and solutions from a security perspective
• Support compliance initiatives (e.g., audits, regulatory requirements)
• Review access controls, identity management, and data protection mechanisms
• Assist in incident response and root cause analysis when needed
• Maintain documentation of security architectures and controls

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
• 4–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or related roles
• Strong understanding of network security, application security, and cloud security
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks)
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies
• Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts
• Understanding of encryption, secure protocols, and data protection techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools
• Knowledge of zero-trust architecture
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc.)
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or SABSA)
